Our Story – From Struggles to Spark

 

Hi, I’m Lynette, founder of TD Fragrance Company – a small, family-run candle and home fragrance business built from a place of love, healing, and new beginnings.

 

For two years before starting this business, life was incredibly hard for our family. We faced family struggles, heartbreak, and challenges that tested our strength in every way. At the same time, I was working a job that left me unfulfilled and exhausted, all while watching precious moments with my children slip by. My husband was made redundant, and everything that once felt steady suddenly felt uncertain.

 

But in the midst of that darkness, a small spark kept me going—my love for candles and fragrance. Scent became a source of comfort, a way to create peace in the chaos. Lighting a candle reminded me to pause, breathe, and find beauty even on the hardest days.

 

For years, I dreamed of starting something of my own. But fear and life’s chaos always held me back—until one day, I looked at my children and realized: if I wanted a different future, I had to be brave enough to build it.

 

So I did.

 

TD Fragrance Company is named after my children, because they are the heart of everything I do. This business is more than candles—it’s a symbol of rising after hardship, of choosing joy, and of creating a home filled with warmth and meaning.

 

Every product is lovingly hand-poured, with thoughtfully crafted scents designed to bring comfort, calm, and connection into your home—just like they did for ours.
